StartSel provides a platform that allows agencies to sell services under their own brand while connecting those orders to verified suppliers who deliver the services. Payments made by customers are processed through the StartSel checkout system using integrated payment providers such as Stripe or PayPal. These providers handle payment authorization, processing, and security.

StartSel does not act as the direct provider of the services offered through the platform.

2. Customer Payments

When a client purchases a service through an agency operating on the StartSel platform:

• The payment is processed through the Supplier checkout system.
• The transaction is handled securely by the integrated payment provider.
• The order is recorded in the agency dashboard.
  

The total amount paid by the client includes:

• the supplier service price
• the agency profit margin
• any applicable taxes or fees depending on the jurisdiction.

3. Agency Pricing & Profit Margins

Agencies using the StartSel platform are responsible for defining their own pricing. Each agency may set its own profit margin on top of supplier prices.

Example:

Supplier price: €120

Agency selling price: €160

Agency profit: €40

The agency retains the difference between the supplier price and the selling price after applicable platform processing.

4. Supplier Service Fees

Suppliers connected to the StartSel platform are independent service providers responsible for delivering the services they offer. Once a service is confirmed or delivered according to the supplier’s terms, the supplier receives their service fee through the platform payout process.

5. Profit Tracking

Agency earnings are recorded in the StartSel wallet dashboard. The dashboard allows agencies to monitor:

• available balance
• pending balance
• locked balance
• completed payouts

Balances may remain temporarily locked until service confirmation or applicable validation periods have passed.

6. Payout Schedule

Agencies may request payouts from their available wallet balance according to the platform payout schedule. Payout timing may depend on:

• service confirmation
• supplier validation
• fraud and risk checks
• payment provider processing timelines.

Payouts are transferred to the payment account connected to the agency profile.

7. Refunds & Cancellations

Refunds and cancellations are governed by the policies of the supplier providing the service.

When a refund is issued:

• the supplier fee may be reversed according to supplier terms
• the agency margin may be adjusted accordingly.

Processing times for refunds may depend on the payment provider used during the transaction.

8. Payment Providers

StartSel integrates with third-party payment providers including but not limited to:

• Stripe
• PayPal

These providers manage payment authorization, fraud prevention, and financial processing.

Use of these services may also be subject to the terms and policies of the respective payment providers.

9. Security

All transactions processed through the StartSel platform are handled through secure payment infrastructure provided by trusted payment partners. Sensitive financial data is processed directly by the payment provider and is not stored by the StartSel platform.

10. Changes to This Policy

StartSel may update this Payments & Payout Policy from time to time to reflect changes in platform functionality, payment infrastructure, or regulatory requirements.
